Holy smokes, most nervous I’ve been to post something. I attempted to make a “vlog” (video blog) about a few things pertaining to my recent yoga teacher training.
Before I share, I thought I would give you a little bit more information why I made my first video post about yoga for the feet.
Feet, awe feet. We use them every day and yet they are probably the most forgotten parts on our body. They are assumed to carry us day in and day out without so much as a complaint. We ask them to forgo comfort for fashion and to ignore pain to cross that finish line to our first marathon or a 100 mile trail run, YIKES.
However, I am a BIG believer that our feet our extremely valuable. I worked at a physical therapy office for quite a while and learned first hand that feet are the foundation for a healthy/happy body; unhappy feet equals ankle, knee, hip, back, and neck pain.
I briefly went over two poses out of many others that I learned that help stretch the feet. Again, I was extremely nervous and felt like I was in front of my speech communications class in college trying not to talk too fast through my speech….I’m sure none of you felt that way in your comm class 😉
Without further ado:
Hope this video helped bring some much needed attention to those fabulous feet of ours 😉 Happy stretching and let me know if you want me to do more of these, (hopefully much better executed and lengthier…gotta start somewhere).
