Run Nelly Run

Running through life as self-proclaimed house wife, mother, homeschooler, and wanna-be chef

It’s always better when we’re together!

If I had the option of running my long runs solo or with a friend and endless conversation…I don’t know if there would even be a contest!  The friend would win!

10 miles with this girl today flew by.  Unfortunately, she moved away and running with her has been sparse if at all.  However, I got a great surprise when she said she would be back in town for the weekend.

I’m also happy to say that she is expecting her first nugget and she has already tackled a half marathon at 21 weeks preggo.  She is force to be reckon with, with or without a babe in tow.

The sun was so pretty and I had to try to highlight her bump…even half way through her pregnancy…there really isn’t much of a bump…mine have always been super round at the half way mark 😉

I also got to take my latest Oiselle find out for a spin.  They’re having a labor day sale that it worth checking out!

The weather decided to stay in the high 70s…so, while I was out walking the pups later…the last 3 miles might have been a run as well 😉  It wasn’t part of my coaches plan, but this past week or so has been sparse with running.  I decided to use my elliptigo while my treadmill is still on the mend.  I was getting too burnt out pushing my boys around town…it was really taking the joy out of it for me; 8 miles or less I can handle…but, most days were 12-14 mile days.
