Run Nelly Run

Running through life as self-proclaimed house wife, mother, homeschooler, and wanna-be chef

Tomorrow is a big day

Tomorrow my little man turns 6.

Sigh. Yup, 6.

Per Bodhi’s request; Birthday cake is peanut butter flavored, (sun butter was used rather than peanut butter) with strawberry frosting.  I knew this boy was my man when he begged to lick the whisk after making his “peanut butter and jelly cake”.  I made my own homemade strawberry sauce for the frosting…I spare no expense for my Bodhi!

Tomorrow I will divulge in his birth story; because like a good race story, this one is worth hearing!

These past 6 years have flown by!

Fresh from the belly Bodhi

Our T-rex baby!

Super squishy and sweet

More personality in his pinky finger

Our blooming artist, (my favorite part of this photo was looking at his feet and realizing how big they’ve gotten; but he still likes to sit like he did when he first could reach the table)

I fought hard to become this boy’s momma.  Bodhi is a pretty incredible soul and I am thankful every day that he chose me to be his mom!

Hoping his day is filled with tons of laughter, love, and moments worth making memories over.  I love you Bodhi Zachary.  You are one in a million.  You hold a special place in my heart that is specifically Bodhi shaped and size..there will never be another who will take that place.
